2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Amazon seller data: When you authorize our application, we access data from your Amazon Seller account through Amazon's Selling Partner API. This may include order and sales data, inventory and fulfillment data, listing and pricing data, catalog data, and financial and settlement data. We access only the data covered by the permissions (roles) you grant.
- Account and contact information: Information you provide when you contact us or sign up, such as your name, business name, and email address.
- Technical information: Standard technical data such as log data and usage information needed to operate and secure the Services.
3. How We Obtain Amazon Data
We retrieve Amazon data only from Amazon, and only through the official Selling Partner API, for sellers who have explicitly authorized our application through Amazon's OAuth authorization flow. We do not use scrapers, data brokers, or any other external source to obtain Amazon Information.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect solely to provide and improve the Services for the seller the data belongs to, including to generate analytics, reports, insights, and related operational features. We do not use Amazon Information for any purpose other than delivering our Services to the authorizing seller.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or share Amazon Information with any outside party for their own use. We share information only with:
- Service providers / subprocessors: Trusted infrastructure providers (for example, our cloud hosting provider) that process data on our behalf, under contractual data-protection obligations, solely to operate the Services.
- Legal requirements: Where required to comply with applicable law or a valid legal request.
Each seller's data is accessible only to that seller and to authorized personnel within our organization on a need-to-know basis.
6. Data Storage and Security
We store data in a secure, encrypted data store. We protect Amazon Information using safeguards consistent with Amazon's Data Protection Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, least-privilege access controls, secure credential management, network security controls, and an incident response process. We notify Amazon of any security incident involving Amazon Information as required by Amazon's policies.
7. Data Retention
We retain Amazon Information only as long as needed to provide the Services or as required by law. When data is no longer needed, or when you revoke authorization and request deletion, we delete it in accordance with applicable Amazon policies and legal requirements.
8. Your Choices and Control
You control your data. You may revoke our application's access at any time through your Amazon Seller Central account (Manage Your Apps). You may also contact us at hello@whsp-consulting.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a revised effective date.
